Working posture is currently one of the most demanding mechanical strains that the body has to deal with on a daily basis: the computer screen, keyboard, mouse and the desktop, lifting heavy objects, being obliged to adopt a standing position for prolonged periods, etc. These postures gradually modify the muscular system and can, over time, cause joint locking or pain.
Osteopathy can treat pain that is already present (in the neck, shoulders, elbows or wrists, etc) but also prevent the occurence of other pains due to the body’s position at work.
The osteopath can ultimately advise you on your work position in order to improve it and to show you how to prevent the onset of pain.
